View from the top: A charity abseil down Jurys Inn

We’ve been working with Derby Hospitals Charity for a while now and we have regular meetings at their office at the Royal Derby. Today was a little different as we took a trip to the Jurys Inn to see Vicky from the Charity team abseil down the side of the building, along with about 40 other people all of whom are braver than me.

It’s not often we get the chance to see our clients throw themselves off tall buildings so we thought it would be fun to pop down and take some photos. The weather was fantastic and pretty soon a large group of people assembled at the bottom of the building to watch. The mood was festive and each participant was greeted with a well deserved cheer as their feet touched down on solid ground.

We love working with Derby Hospitals Charity as they do such important work. The money they raise from donations, events and their weekly lottery goes back into buying new hospital equipment and providing important support to those who need it.
